     Nebraska Public Power District customers in Rushville and Clinton need to make sure they have something other than an electric alarm clock without a battery backup or they may be late tomorrow morning.
The utility will conduct a planned maintenance outage tonight between 3:00 and 5:00 AM that will affect all customers in Clinton and Rushville.
NPPD Supervisor of Corporate Media and Media Services Mark Becker says if all goes as expected, power will be restored before 3:00.
Becker says NPPD regrets the inconvenience, but some types of maintenance work and repairs require the system to be shut down briefly in a given area.
