NPPD Planning Midnight Repair Outage For Rushville And Clinton

Loading

Nebraska Public Power District will conduct two planned outages early tomorrow morning in Rushville and Clinton so that crews can replace crossarms on structures in Rushville. Each is expected to last about 15-minutes.

Spokesman Grant Otten says the first planned outage will be at midnight with the second at approximately 4:00 am.

The first outage is so that electricity can be rerouted in preparation for crews to perform the structure repairs in Rushville while the second will return the system back to normal operations when the work is completed.

Otten says about 140 customers in southwestern Rushville near and south of 3rd Street, between Loofborrow and Emert, will be without power the entire time from midnight. to 4:00.

That’s the area where the repair work is being done and the electricity will need to remain offline the entire time so that crews can perform the needed repairs in a safe manner. NPPD been contacting the customers in that area by phone
