Today the Nebraska State Patrol Crime Laboratory will be getting an expansion upgrade with a groundbreaking ceremony taking place at the laboratory led by Colonel John Bolduc, Lt. Governor Joe Kelly, and NSP Crime Lab Director Jason Linder.

The Nebraska State Patrol Crime Laboratory is located in Lincoln, is entirely government funded, and serves all local, county, state, federal, and military law enforcement agencies in Nebraska.  The laboratory analyzes over 5,000 cases per year and currently includes areas in Drug Chemistry, Latent Fingerprints, Biology/DNA, Toxicology, and Firearms and Tool Marks.

Media are welcome to attend the ceremony beginning at 10:30 AM Central in Air Park in Lincoln. The event will also be live streamed on the NSPโ€™s Facebook page.
