One person received minors in a 2-vehicle accident about 6:40 Wednesday night at the 3rd and Pine intersection in Chadron.
The Chadron Police Department says 96-year old James Claussen was eastbound on 3rd Street, which is also Hwy 20, when he attempted to make a left turn and head northbound on Pine.
The accident report says Claussen turned directly in front of an on-coming pickup and trailer driven by Aron Kutschara, which ti-boned him on the passenger side front quarter-panel.
Kutschara was unhurt while Claussen was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation with no citations issued at this time,
I never heard of a person 96 yrs. of age having a drivers license.
