Osborn for Senate
Today, Dan Osborn, Independent Candidate for U.S. Senate, invited his opponent, Sen. Pete Ricketts, to attend one of his town halls and see what a real town hall looks like. Yesterday, at an event closed off to the public, Ricketts compared his insulated campaign events to Dan’s public town halls. It has been 474 days since Pete Ricketts’ last town hall.
“I extend an open invitation to Pete to attend any of our town halls and see what a real coalition of Nebraskans looks like. These events are filled with people from every walk of life, who share an interest in hearing about and talking through my vision for this country. As difficult as it is for him to believe, I open my doors to everyone who wants to participate in the political process, and I’ll take questions from anyone. I’m not scared of the real accountability that comes with facing the public, and I sure as hell know the difference between a public town hall and the publicity stunt Pocket Pete is calling a tour,” Dan Osborn said.
