Out of State Wildfires Affecting Local Air Quality

Loading

Local areas are seeing a haze lingering outside coming from wildfires across the Pacific Northwest and parts of Canada. The National Weather Service has issued various Air Quality Advisories for parts of Colorado and Wyoming.

According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, heavy smoke from out of state wildfires will likely affect the region through at least Tuesday morning.

If smoke becomes thick, you may want to limit time spent outdoors and avoid prolonged exposure to poor air quality conditions, especially if you have underlying health issues such as heart disease and respiratory illnesses.
