Panhandle Prep All-Star Basketball Games Tonight At Gering High

     The 28th annual Panhandle Prep boys and girls All-Star Basketball Games are tonight at Gering High School. 

     The girl’s game starts at 5:30 with the boys game to follow around 7:30. The boys dunk contest will be at halftime of the girls game and both 3-point finals will take place between games.

     Seven players from the 5 schools along Highway 20 are scheduled to take part, 2 for the girls and 5 for the boys.

      On the girls Blue team are Crawford’s Natalie Barry and Kailey Klein of Sioux County, who’s signed to play at Chadron State. 

     They’re coached by Natalie’s dad, former Crawford High coach and incoming Chadron High activities director Rick Barry.

      The boys game has Chadron High teammates Justus Alcorn and Gaurav Chima on the Red Team along with Logan DeCoste of Hay Springs while Chadron’s Collin Brennan is on the Blue team with P.J Lynch of Gordon-Rushville.
