Private graveside services for 83-year old Patricia Ann Howard were held Wed, July 12, 2023 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron, NE.
Patricia was born October 4, 1940 in Bayard, NE to George and Anna Sittner. Jesus wrapped her in His loving arms and carried her to heaven to join her husband, Gerald Howard, on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Patricia was a devoted wife and mother. She filled her home with love for the Lord, her husband, her children, and grandchildren.
Although the loss felt by those left behind is immeasurable, memories of holiday celebrations, delicious smells of food, sounds of laughter and happiness and mostly love and security will remain forever in the hearts of those Patricia loved.
Patricia was preceded in death by: Gerald Howard (husband), George Sittner Sr (father), Anna (Knaub) Sittner (mother), Larry Sittner (brother), George Sittner Jr (brother), Anna Sittner (sister), Dillon Ewald (grandson).
She is survived by her children: Kimberley (Howard) Encinas (daughter), Mark Howard (son), and Shelly (Howard) Katen (daughter); her grandchildren: Brian Glenn, Jodi (Glenn) Ewald, Erica Encinas, Alicia Encinas, Tony Howard. Matt Howard, Zachary Hartley, and Kenzie Katen; and her great-grandchildren: Brylee Glenn, Tommy Ewald, Lilly Ewald, Elysyana Encinas-Crow, Xiomara Encinas-Crow, Zorayah Van Horn, Braxten Howard, and Eliza Hartley.
Loved them both.

Best sister a person could ask for. Spent many phone calls talking for hours, laughing, watching the same TV show by phone, reminiscing about growing up in Bayard, sharing updates on our kids and grandkids and great grandkids. She had a great sense of humor. Patty was bold about sharing the Lord. She is missed but I thank God for the memories.
