Post Playhouse Opening Tonight After 2 Year COVID Hiatus

Loading

The Fort Robinson Post Playhouse opens its first season in almost 3 years tonight with the musical Damn Yankees.

The Covid pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 season after most of the cast and crew had been hired and last year’s season before most any hiring.

Producing Artistic Director Tom Ossowski says it felt great earlier this month to finally be meeting with cast and crew at Playhouse, where he’d last been when the 2019 season closed in mid-August.

After the 2020 season was canceled, Ossowski planned to keep the 5 planned productions. Damn Yankees is the only one to make it to this season and Ossowski is excited to finally bring it to an audience.

Good seats remain in all parts of the house for tonight’s performance.

Tickets for individual performances of all 5 shows are available along with 4-and-5 show subscriptions. They can be purchased online at postplahouse.com or by calling the box office at 888-665-1976

This year’s other shows are Desperate Measures, which opens next Friday, followed by The Sound of Music on June 10, Church Basement Ladies June 24, and Something Rotten July 1st. The final performance is August 14.
