The pretrial hearing for the teenage Gordon girl from Gordon charged with stabbing her newborn to death last November has been postponed.

17-year old Chloe Coplen-Anderson was slated to have her latest hearing in Sheridan County District Court before Judge Travis O’Gorman this week, but it’s been continued to August 13.

. Coplen-Anderson is facing multiple felony charges including 1stpDegree Murder, Felony Use of a Deadly Weapon, and Knowing and Intentional Child Abuse resulting in Death.

Court records show the teen gave birth at home without her parents knowing it. A police officer said the newborn had been stabbed several times on the left side of the chest and had its throat cut through the windpipe. EMTs were unable to save the child.
