After a lengthy spring break, the Nebraska football team resumed practice on Tuesday and special teams was on the mind as newly minted special teams coordinator Bill Busch spoke to the media.

Busch detailed the mentality that he wants to see out of his group saying, “For those guys it is fourth down every time,”

Busch joked that when Nebraska receives the ball on a punt or kickoff return that the official should make two signals,”Touchdown Nebraska, or first down Nebraska.”

Ten former Huskers participated in Nebraska’s pro day on Tuesday inside the Hawks Championship Center in front of 28 pro scouts.

The group went through a battery of physical tests as well as positional drills on the indoor turf. Fans can watch a replay of the field work on Huskers.com.
