Racen Lucius Moves Camp was born on August 2, 2011 in Rapid City, SD to Jarrod Iron Horse and Trudine Moves Camp. Racen made his journey to the Spirit World on July 1, 2024 in Wanblee, SD.

Racen is survived by his mother, Trudine Moves Camp; brother, Rowdy Iron Horse and Kellen Iron Horse; sisters, Kimberly Iron Horse, Wokpe Iron Horse, and WiWita Moves Camp; aunts, Andrea Moves Camp, Hannah Moves Camp, T Moves Camp, Jackie Between Lodges, and Wanyina Herrera; uncles, Two Hoops Moves Camp, Tasagye Moves Camp, Tasina Moves Camp, and Richard Roy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Racen was preceded in death brother, Roan Iron Horse; paternal grandparents, Marvin Iron Horse, Lawrence “Delicious” Randall, Lavina Between Lodges; father, Jarrod Iron Horse; uncles,Victor Iron Horse, James Iron Horse, and Leon Little Killer; aunt, Arvella Iron Horse; maternal grandparents, Sam and Eileen Moves Camp; uncles, John Moves Camp, Herman Iron Horse, Cornelius Iron Horse; and nephew, Leo Starr.

Pallbearers are Michael Marshall, Jr., Elmer “Jay Bird” Clairmont, Wiley Brewer, Andrew Her Many Horses, and May Yellow Cloud.

Honorary pallbearers will be Germaine Moves Camp, Anita and Reed Brown, Evelene Moves Camp, Yellow Elk Grandmothers, Faith Peneaux, his boys in Wanblee, his boys in Oglala, Danny Boy, Iron Rope Grandmothers, All Sundancers and Helpers, and All Friends and Relatives.

A two night wake service for Racen Lucius Moves Camp starts at 4 on Monday July 22, 2024 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD.

Funeral Service is at 1 on Wednesday July 24,2024 at the TNT Center with traditional Lakota Services by Ernest Red Elk.

Burial is at the Konoha Cemetery in Wanblee.
