Rain and wet conditions have delayed the Class C Subdistrict 10 softball tournament in Chadron.
The host Chadron High Cardinals defeated the Bayard Tigers 12-0 in 3 innings in the opener without weather issues, but the second game between 2nd-seeded Hershey and #3 Imperial-Chase County was halted by rain tied at 5-5.
Play resumed about 7:30 and officials hope start the championship game between Chadron and the Hershey-Chase County winner around 8:00. The game will be aired on KCSR and streamed on chadrad.com.
The C-10 champion will advance to the best-of-3 district finals this weekend.
