After an early back-and-forth, the Crawford Rams pulled away and earned a 10-point victory
over Sioux County Saturday. The Ramsโ 39-29 effort against the Warriors was led by Taylor Homanโs 17 points. Cyrus Walker contributed 13. Sioux County also had two players in double figures. Jack Hunter and Pete Hernandez each added 10 the board.
The teams traded three-pointers early in the first quarter, with Crawford taking an early 11-8 lead. Sioux County tied the game at 16 as the second quarter progressed and took their first lead at 17-16 on a free throw by Hunter. The start of the third quarter again had the teams trading treys, but the Warriors shooting went cold, allowing the Rams to make a 12-5 run in the quarter. Sioux County pulled within two in the fourth on one of Hunterโs three-pointers, but the Rams answered immediately and pulled away for the win.
