The Community of Chadron will be holding the first monthly recycling collection event, Saturday, May 20. Trailers will be parked at Nebraska Bank, 205 West Third from 9:00 – 12:00.
Acceptable recyclables include Cardboard, Paperboard, Newspapers, Magazines, Tin & Steel cans, Aluminum cans, Milk Jugs, #1 – #7 Plastics, Glass jars and bottles.
The recyclables will be transported to the Keep Alliance Beautiful recycling facility. Keep Alliance Beautiful requests that items be clean and dry. Recyclables can be commingled or sorted. Aluminum cans should be collected separately to allow for baling on site.
