Red Ribbon Skit Society Founder, Spiritual Leader To Speak At CSC On MMIW

    The founder of the Red Ribbon Skirt Society along with its spiritual leader are speaking tonight at Chadron State College on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

      Founder Lily Mendoza and spiritual leader Darla Black will speak at 7:00 in the Mari Sandoz Center Chicoine Atrium

      Sandoz Center spokesman Courtney Kouba says Mendoza and Black will speak about the history of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Red Dress Movement and how the issue is finally gaining attention and action.

The presentation by Mendoza and Black is free and open to the public. It’s co-sponsored by the Chadron State College Native American Club and the Chadron High School Social Justice Club
