Reginald Luke Black Elk, Jr. was born on June 18, 1967 in Pine Ridge, SD to Reginald Black Elk, Sr. and Carmen Whiting. Reginald, Jr. made his journey to the Spirit World on April 28, 2022 at his home in Rapid City, SD.
Reginald is survived by his spouse, Antoinette Fast Horse; children, Jeffrey Fast Horse, Rhiannon Fast Horse, Regi Black Elk III, Ray Ann Lynn Black Elk, Ashley Black Elk, Danica Black Elk, Sheldon Black Elk, and Troy Lynn Black Elk; sister, Rayette Black Elk; and grandchildren, Nova Lee Black Elk, Kyaio Black Elk, Cashius Fast horse, Aldys Fast Horse, Khairee White Bull, Nevaeh White Bull, Cecelia Black Elk, and Andrew Black Elk.
Reginald was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald Black Elk, Sr. and Carmen Whiting; brother, Troy L. Black Elk; nephews, Jesse Wayne Black Elk and Donovan Troy Black Elk; grandparents, Henry Black Elk, Jr. and Zoey Black Elk, Melvin Bissonette, and Annie Chase In Morning; cousin, James Pulliam; uncles, Joe Black Elk, Dwight Black Elk, and Antoine Bissonette; sister, Charlotte Marie Black Elk; grandson, Thomas Cole Black Elk; and granddaughter, Shana Marie Black Elk.
