At his request, no services will be held for 73-year old Robert “Bob” Dotson of Chadron, NE. Instead, there will be a family celebration of Bob’s life.

Robert Allen Dotson was born February 26, 1949, the son of late Edna and Marvin Dotson, and passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at Chadron Community Hospital.
Bob was the younger of two sons and graduated from Chadron High School in the Class of 1967. He graduated from Barber College in Lincoln, NE, in 1968 and later received his bachelor’s degree from Chadron State College.
Bob was a resident barber on Main Street, but progressed to a procedure analyst at Chadron State College from 1979 thru 1983 before spending the remainder of his professional career as an insurance auditor.
Bob was truly a sports fanatic and a fixture of local sporting events. He spent countless hours coaching and umping little league baseball.
Bob was a loving and devoted father and proud grandfather.
He is survived by his brother, Roger Dotson, his son Jason and granddaughters Chloe and Olivia, and his son David (Eunice) and grandson, Valantis.
