         A Scottsbluff man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Friday morning on Hwy 88 near the Wyoming state line in northwest Banner County.
29-year old Jaimin Mesa was pronounced dead at the scene.Â
     Banner County Sheriff Zane Hopkins says the accident about 4 miles east of the state line was reported around 6:00 Friday morning, apparently 4 to 5 hours after it occurred. Â
Sheriff Hopkins says the investigation by his office and the State Patrol assistance determined that Mesa was eastbound when he lost control of his car and it left the pavement.
The car rolled several times and Mesa, who was alone and not wearing a seat belt was ejected. Sheriff Hopkins says speed and alcohol are being investigated as possible contributing factors to the accident.
