Funeral services for 45-year old Ron Bush are Sunday, Sept 24, 2023 at 2:00 at the New American Legion in Martin, SD, with the Rev Kenneth Hooper officiating and special singers Joshua and Joseph Hooper
Burial is at the Lakota Chapel Cemetery in Martin
A one-night wake service starts Sat, Sept 23, at noon at the New American Legion Hall in Martin.

Ronald C Bush was born on March 23, 1978 in St Ignatius, MT to John M Bush Sr and DeVonna (Apple) Bush while his family was attending Northwest Indian Bible School in Alberton, MT. Ronald made his journey to the Spirit World on September 13, 2023 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ where he had gone for treatment.
Ronald attended elementary school at McLaughlin, SD with his high school years split between Fort Yates, ND, and Little Wound High School at Kyle, SD.
Ronald received his GED and did some college classes at Oglala Lakota College. He also did some auto body training at Western Vo-Tech in Rapid City, SD.
Ronald settled down with Misty Audiss-Bush and they had 7 children he leaves behind as his legacy. They bring much joy to the whole family!
He loved his children and all their friends, and loved spending time with them, especially cookouts, bonfires, camping, fishing, and hunting.
RC also loved cooking for his children; he’d see something on TV and try cooking it.
He watched learning channels on TV and liked to learn about many things near and far. He also liked to watch music videos and sing along with them.
RC liked unusual stories and mysteries. He had many good memories of his 10 years in Little Eagle, growing up with horseback riding, swimming, fishing, and his friends.
Ronald was respectful to his elders and was helpful. He was a committed father and would encourage his children with his wit and humor, eventually passing his positive, humorous socializing onto them.
He was the youngest of six children with siblings John Bush Jr, Raymond Bush, Angel Bush, Elizabeth O’Hara, and Vonnie Bush.
So sad of his passing leaving behind his wife Misty Audiss Bush; his children Giovanni Bush, Raythen Bush, Devon Bush, Isreal Bush, Seraphina Bush, and Alayiah Bush and her mother, Rae Lynn War Bonnett.
Ronald was preceded in death by his son Ronald C Bush Jr.
Pallbearers will be Giovanni Bush, Raythen Bush, Devon Bush, Brandon O’Hara, Nick O’Hara, Christian O’Hara, Cameron Reddy, Robert Reddy, Iyan Reddy, Fred Bush Jr, Joe Bush, Keyshawn Reddy, Israel Bush, and Marley Reddy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Pat and Derrick Reddy, and all of Ronald’s many friends – there are too many to mention.
