Burial is at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Slim Buttes, SD
A one-night wake service starts Sunday, June 23, at 2:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services at 6:00.

Rose (Afraid of Bear) Becenti was born on August 16, 1949 to George Afraid of Bear and Annie Kills Crow. Rose made her journey to the Spirit World on June 10, 2024 at the Linden Court Retirement Home in North Platte, NE.
Rose is survived by her daughters Annette Reha, Lisa Becenti, Amy Becenti, and Amber Afraid of Bear; son Ernest Becenti Jr; sister Esther Afraid of Bear; grandchildren Jarred, Jose, & Nathan Reha, Alyssa Two Bulls, Kylie and Jordyn Becenti, Pamela Becenti-Two Bulls, Tony Two Bulls Jr, Tyler Becenti, Stacy & Wiconi Northrup, Mica Becenti, Kimberly Becenti-White, and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Rose was preceded in death by her spouse Ernie Becenti Sr; parents Annie Kills Crow and George Afraid of Bear; granddaughter Emma Becenti; and brothers Ernest, George, Fred Sr, Steven, Larue, & Richard Afraid of Bear.
Pallbearers will be Cranston Afraid of Bear, Norman Afraid of Bearn, Aloysius Afraid of Bear, Jasmine Afraid of Bear, Dale Kills Enemy, and Earl Russell.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
