Funeral services for 38-year old Roylynn Chief Eagle are Sat, June 11, 2022 at noon at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating and traditional Lakota services by Ms Darla Black

Burial Services is the 7th Day Adventist Cemetery in Red Shirt Table, SD

A two-night wake service starts Thurs, June 9, at 3:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services starting at 7:00 PM

Roylynn Jean Chief Eagle was born on October 28, 1983 in Gordon, NE to Wayne M. Chief Eagle and Susan R. Two Bulls-Shockey.  Roylynn made her journey to the Spirit World on May 29, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Roylynn is survived by her stepfather, Donnie Shockey, Sr.; daughters, Waziya, Shylynn, and Susanna Chief Eagle; sons, Zuya Red Paint, Isaiah, Wakinya, Francis, & Wambli Chief Eagle; sister, Alice (Bernard) Two Bulls; brothers, Wayne (Mary) Chief Eagle, Thomas (Susan) Chief Eagle, Donnie Shockey, Jr. and Chris Shockey; one grandchild on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

Roylynn was preceded in death by her father, Wayne M. Chief Eagle, Sr.; mother, Susan R. Two Bulls-Shockey; sister, Lucille C. Chief Eagle; paternal grandparents, Eugene & Alice (Weasel Bear) Chief Eagle; and maternal grandparents, Laverne & Gladys (Red Breath Bear) Two Bulls.

Pallbearers will be Zuya Red Paint, Isaiah Chief Eagle, Chance Chief Eagle, Thomas Chief Eagle, Noah Kills Enemy, Jake Two Bulls, Wambli Red Shirt, Eric Kills Enemy, Chris Shockey, Salina Yellow Horse, Brooke Standing Bear, Xavier Chief Eagle-Long Soldier, Mikki McMath, Pharicia Piper, Leslie Chief Eagle-Oldson, Gayla Weasel Bear, Gaylene Weasel Bear, and Hope Fast Wolf.
