Russell James Has No Horse, Sr. was born on March 17, 1986 in Pine Ridge, Sd to Rosalie Has No Horse-Spoonhunter and Alden Spoonhunter, Sr. Russell, Sr. made his journey to the Spirit World on April 3, 2022 near Kyle, SD.
Russell, Sr. is survived by his parents, Rosalie and Alden, Sr. Spoonhunter; children, Alexia Wallowing Bull, Alvena Has No horse, Marlaina Has No Horse, Russell Has No Horse, Jr., Luke Old Horse, Marsha Old Horse, Aubree Old Horse, and Anthony Old Horse; siblings, Alden Spoonhunter, Jr., Tana Has No Horse, Aldena Spoonhunter, Heaven Spoonhunter, and Jacinta Spoonhunter; aunts, Marla Two Crow and Mary Little Whiteman; uncles, Aubrey Two Crow, Aaron Two Crow, Alvin Has No Horse, Alan Has No Horse, and Lester Monroe; and granddaughter, Ocea Monroe.
Russell, Sr. was preceded in death by his sister, Martika Spoonhunter; grandparents, Alvin Has No Horse, Sr. and Georgianna Has No Horse; aunt, Rhoda Palmer; and cousins, Roman Palmer, Jenny Two Crow, and Ashley Two Crow.
Pallbearers will be Alden Spoonhunter, Sr., Alden Spoonhunter, Jr., Samuel Around Him, Cody Kills In Water, Kalo Garrett, and Aaron Broken Rope.
