Russell Wilson Returns To Practice 4 Days After Injection

Quarterback Russell Wilson was back on the practice field throwing passes Tuesday just four days after flying to Los Angeles to get an injection to ease the discomfort in his ailing throwing shoulder.

Wilson didn’t appear to have any problems throwing the football. The Broncos are confident he’ll start Monday night when they visit the Los Angeles Chargers.

Wilson is off to a rocky start in Denver along with rookie head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

Wilson’s shoulder began hurting him in a game against the Raiders and he played through the pain in a loss last week to Indianapolis.
