Samantha Grace Merrill “Waniyetu Hanwi” was born on Jan 28, 2024 at 9:48 PM at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ, and made her journey to the Spirit World there on Jan 30, 2024.
Samantha changed the world while she was here, at least for us that loved her.
Samantha is survived by her parents Aaron & Ashley Merrill of Mesa, AZ; sister Shana of Mesa; paternal grandparents Chuck & Char Swalberg of North Platte, NE; maternal grandparents Jim & Julie Gardner of Kannapolis, NC; aunts and uncles Adrian (Tanisha) Pate and Amanda (Alex) Anderson of Concord, NC, Stevie Flood, Skyler (Chandler) Flood, and Shane Merrill, all of North Platte, Jordyn Gardner of Kannapolis, Alyssa Gardner of Phoenix, AZ, and Jeremy Gardner of Surprise, AZ; great-grandmothers Bernice Loafer-Goodro of North Platte and Geraldine Hyman of Queensbury, NY; cousins Oliver and Aaris both of Omaha, NE, Liam and Carson of Concord, NC, Caiden, Isla, and Everest, all of North Platte, and Cohen and Remington of Surprise; and many, many relatives that loved and prayed for Samantha.
Samantha was preceded in death by one sibling.
