High school all-star season is upon us and the rosters for the Panhandle Prep All-Star basketball games have been released. Chadron High will have two participants in the girls game set for May 29th at Scottsbluff High School.
Representing Chadron will be Reese Ritterbush. Ritterbush in her senior year for Chadron High averaged 3.6 points per game but was most noticeable on the defensive end of the floor. Head coach Kelsey Scott will be the head coach of the Red team in the girls game, joining Ritterbush on the Red team. Scott led the Cardinals to a 16-10 record, their most wins in a season since the 2019-2020 season.
Crawford will have two selections in the game with Taylor Homan after a season in which he averaged 22.5 points per game along with dropping a school record 46 points during a game midway through the season. Homan will be playing for the boys red while Keslyn Vogel will be playing for the Blue girls team. Vogel led the Rams girls with 12.5 points per game and had a season high of 28 points against Hemingford in mid-January.
Joining Scott on the bench for the girls Red team will be Mickenzie Foster from Alliance while the Blue girls coaches will be Emily Buchanan from Southeast and Britt Bath from Burns. The boys coaches for the Red team are Scott Gullion and Nick Goranson from Scottsbluff while Chris Cook and Jesh Arnusch from Lingle-Fort Laramie will coach the boys Blue team.
The game will take place on Friday, May 29th at Scottsbulff High School with the girls game to start at 5:30pm followed by the boys.
