The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the woman killed last Wednesday night in a one-vehicle crash southeast of Hot Springs was 30-year old Michelle Gudeta of Custer.
Gudeta was northbound on Hwy 385-18-79 about 2 miles south of Maverick Junction when her SUV left the pavement, went into the median, and rolled.
Gudeta was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the SUV. She was taken by ambulance to the Fall River Medical Services hospital in Hot Springs, where she later died.
