Chadron placed two in the top 10 and fired a season best 396 on their way to finishing 2nd at the Alliance Invite on Monday at Skyview Golf Course.
Kenzie Pourier and Taegan Bach shot matching rounds of 96, season best scores for both, in placing 7th and 8th respectively.
Nielli Heinold of Scottsbluff took first and cleared the field by 9 strokes with her 72. Teammate Addie Peck was right behind with an 81.
The Bearcats won the team title with a 333, followed by Chadron’s score of 396. Sidney was one stroke back with a 397.
Reese Ritterbush and Lucy Rishcling had matching 102’s to round out the team scorecard.
Chadron heads to districts on Monday at Crandell Creek Golf Course in Ogallala.
