Wednesday afternoon, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts announced he will be hosting a series of Federal Spending Briefings across the state of Nebraska in the coming weeks. These briefings will focus on Washington’s wasteful spending habits and provide an opportunity for Nebraskans to engage in discussions on fiscal responsibility and government accountability.
Although Ricketts is visiting 8 different locations across the state, he’ll be in the panhandle just once. Wednesday, August 21st, the senator will be at the Legacy of the Plains Museum in Gering at 9:30 A.M. MDT.
The 7 other destinations include Grand Island August 20th, North Platte August 21st, Kearney on August 26th, and stops at Wahoo, Beatrice, Nebraska City, and Plattsmouth all on September 3rd.
The briefings are open to the public, but Nebraskans attending are encouraged to RSVP to Eric_Maher@ricketts.senate.gov.
