It took the staff of Nebraska U-S Senator Pete Ricketts less than 6 months to hold at least one Mobile Office Hours session in each of the state’s 93 counties this year, and they’ve already started visiting some counties a second time.
The Northern Panhandle is hosting repeat visits today and tomorrow. This morning, a Ricketts staffer will be in Hemingford at the Public Library from 11:00-to-noon, then will head to Hay Springs for a 1-2:00 stop at City Hall.
Tomorrow will see a Mobile Office Hours in Crawford at the Public Library from 11-to-noon and in Harrison at the Sioux County Courthouse from 1-to-2:00,
Senator Ricketts says the Mobile Office Hours program provides Nebraskans who don’t live near one of his state offices a more accessible way to meet with his team.
At a Mobile Office stop, the senator’s staff help constituents with a wide range of issues, many of them the result of the federal government failing to fulfill essential services,
Ricketts says if Nebraskans can’t get an answer from the federal bureaucracy in a timely manner or feel they have been treated unfairly, his staff may be able to help resolve the issue or help them contact the correct officials to move forward.
