Shawna Lyn Provincial-Alvarez was born on January 1, 1976 in Rapid City, SD to Dennis Steele-Yellow Bird and Margaret Provincial. Shawna made her journey to the Spirit World on January 11, 2022 at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.
Shawna has made smiles and created memories living her life amongst many people throughout these years until the day of her passing. Shawna will be missed greatly by the numerous family and friends who she touched dearly. She was a great mother to her children, wonderful cousin, and aunt to all relatives who knew her.
Shawna is survived by her spouse, Darvin Alvarez; sons, Angel Provincial, Andy Provincial, Estevan Bytendorp, Isaiah Provincial-Steele, Adrian Alvarez, Darvin Alvarez; daughters, Margarita Provincial and Analiz Alvarez; siblings, Dana Provincial, Clinton Provincial, and Robert Provincial; grandchildren, Dezirae Provincial, Nevayah Provincial, Oliver Wilcox, and Angelo Bear Heels.
Shawna was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Provincial And Dennis Yellow Bird-Steele; grandmothers, Evangeline Bald Eagle Bear, Lorene Bald Eagle Bear, and Sarah Mueller; grandfathers, Harvey Provincial, Paul Bald Eagle Bear, Charles Yellow Bird, and Paul Bald Eagle Bear; uncles, Lyle Bald Eagle Bear, Taylor Bald Eagle Bear, Jr. Bald Eagle Bear, Robert Yellow Bird-Steele, and Richard Yellow Bird-Steele; aunts, Mary Skinner, Myla, and Sandra; and cousins, Julio Bald Eagle Bear, Carlos Santiago, Michael Bald Eagle, and Manuel Bald Eagle.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Santiago, Waylon Loafer, Louis Black Bear, Dana Provincial III, Justin Singer, and Taylor Johnson.
