Funeral services for 43-year old Sheldon Red Kettle-Glenn are Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1:30 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD, with Pastor Chris Grillo officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Russell Eagle Bear
Burial is at the Red Kettle Family Cemetery in Wanblee.
A two-night wake service starts Wed, July 13, at 3:00 at the T&T Center in Wanblee.
Sheldon Davis Red Kettle-Glenn was born on January 10, 1979 in Kadoka, SD to David Carl Glenn and Nonabah Red Kettle. Sheldon made his journey to the Spirit World on July 4, 2022 in Rapid City, SD.
Sheldon is survived by his father, David Glenn; son, Richard Marcus Glenn; sisters, Chantelle Peters, Sylvanna Bullman, and ReAnna Red Kettle; and brother, Desmond Red Kettle.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his mother, Nonabah Red Kettle; sister, Cora Glenn; maternal grandparents, Isabelle Chipps-Red Kettle and Burgess Red Kettle; paternal grandparents, Julie Quiver-Glenn, James Glenn, James Glenn, Jr., Lucinda Richards-Quiver, and Jonas Quiver; aunts, Mary Rose Glenn, Ophelia Red Kettle, Norma Red Kettle, and Lorraine Red Kettle; and uncles, Richard Glenn, Ambrose Red Kettle, Johnny Red Kettle, and Donroy Red Kettle.
Pallbearers will be Mike Rogers, Jim Rogers, Carl Moran, Corey Marshall, Mike Marshall, Jr., Steven Quiver, James Glenn, and Royce Bull Bear.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of Sheldon’s Street Friends in Rapid City, SD, Hope Center, and all Friends & Relatives.
