Sheridan County Fair Picking Up Speed

   The 135th annual Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo, with the theme “What a Ride,” continues its 9-day run today at the Fairgrounds in Gordon

    Fair Board Secretary Courtney Ostrander says most of the day has behind-the-scenes activity with the evening entertainment starting at 5:00.

Ostrander says the entertainment package for the rest of the Fair has Mutton Busting, Ranch Bronc Riding. and Junior Bareback Riding tomorrow night with the LIvestock, Cake, and Cookie Jar Auctions on Wednesday.

    Thursday sees the arrival of the Inflatables for kids from 1:00-10:00, the first night of PRCA Rodeo action at 7:00, and the Teen Dance from 8:00-11:30.

    Friday again has the Inflatables from 1:00-10:00, another session of PRCA Rodeo at 7:00, and the Rodeo Concert with the Brad Morgan Band at 9:00.

     Saturday’s schedule includes the Fair Parade at 10:00, the Rubber Check Race at 1:00, the last PRCA Rodeo session at 7:00 and at 9:00 the second night of the Rodeo Concert with the Brad Morgan Band.
