Sheridan Sioux Shott was born on Oct 12, 1990 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lawrence Shott Sr and Marlita Running Bear. Sheridan made his journey to the Spirit World on March 17, 2024 at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge.
Sheridan is survived by his daughter Shalaya Shott; son Uriah Shott; mother Marlita (Morrison) Running Bear; stepfather Roger Running Bear; sisters Jolita (Myron) Morrison, Lynette Little Moon, Jennifer Rowland, Nicole, Audrey, and Crystal Lakota, Clarissa Lone Wolf, Anna Lara, and Amy & Leslie Cortier; brothers Lawrence Shott Jr, Ethan Cortier, Shawn (Megan) Cortier, Stacy Bear Shirt, Gabe (April), Cody, & Colin No Leaf-LaDeaux, Eric & Willis Lakota, Clement LaDeaux, Alex & Patrick Rowland, Christian Janis, and Merl Boltz; grandchildren Troy Wade Tail Jr, Jennessa Jealous of Him, and Antone Amen; aunts & uncles Cleo (John) LaDeaux, Bernadine Rowland, Violet Never Misses A Shot, Phyllis Shott, Doris Respects Nothing, Amos American Horse, Charlie American horse, Bobby American Horse, John No Leaf, Seth Eagle Bear, and Rudell Bear Shirt; nieces & nephews, Brady & Brandy Shott, Troy (Talanna) & Marilyn Tail, Pearl Ghost Dog, Kayleigh, Rosaleigh, & Roman Shangreaux, Andre Trevino, Autumn, Qlani, & Dazianna Lone Wolf, and many more nieces & nephews, as well as his surviving fur babies Honey, Duke, & Penny.
Sheridan was preceded in death by the love of his life Latoya Hollow Horn; his father Lawrence Shott Sr; sisters Theresa & Zandra Shott; maternal grandparents Roy Morrison & Zona Eagle Bear; paternal grandparents Theresa Shott-Medicine & Wilson Little Moon; uncles Darrell Morrison, Willard Eagle Bear, Anthony Pedro Tail, Cameron LaDeaux, and Antoine LaDeaux, & Greg Rowland Sr; and aunts Helena Chief, Bernice Spotted Eagle, and Angie LaDeaux.
