The Chadron High boys basketball team saw their season come to an end on Thursday night with a 49-32 loss to top seeded Sidney in the C1-12 championship game.
Chadron trailed by just two at the end of the 1st quarter and pulled the score even at 10 early in the 2nd before Sidney ended on a 10-3 run to close out the half.
Sidney used a mix of three pointers and free throw to grow a 2nd half lead as big as 21 before settling on the final score.
Chadron had no one score in double-digits. Broc Berry, Tyler Spotted Elk and Brady Daniels led the way with 8 points each.
The Cardinals close their season at 15-9, their most wins since the 2014-15 season and will say goodbye to five Seniors.
Sidney advances to the district championship round on Saturday as the 4-seed. The Raiders will face Malcolm at Gothenburg at 3:00 MT.
