Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), released the following statement after the passing of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter at 100 years of age.
“Beginning with his service in the U.S. Navy, President Carter’s lifetime of service was consistent across many areas of his life and carried on long after he left the presidency. His charitable endeavors well into his 90s are emblematic of American resilience and our dedication to giving back to community and neighbor alike.”
