South Dakota District 30 Races Decided

South Dakota District 30 which encompasses Fall River county in southwestern South Dakota had two races for the South Dakota Legislature for one state senator and two state representatives. In the race for the state senate Amber Hulse-R took roughly 75% of the vote to beat Bret Swanson-D by a 11,210 to 3,867 margin. 

In the race for the state representative seats in which three candidates were vying for two seats it was a clean sweep for the republican candidates.  Trish Lander-R took 41% of the vote with 9,703 votes joining Tim Goodwin who had 43% of the vote with 10,088 votes. Susan Scheirbeck-D finished in third place with 16% of the vote, bringing in 3,871 votes.
