The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a New York City woman Thursday night after locating more than 100 pounds of suspected marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in the Sidney area.
The Patrol says a trooper stopped an eastbound car for speeding about 10:15 near the Sunol exit.
During the stop, the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity and arranged for a search of the car that revealed some 103 pounds of suspected pot concealed in luggage in the rear of the vehicle.
48-year old Victoria Chin of Brooklyn was arrested for possession of more than a pound of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute, then lodged in the Cheyenne County Jail in Sidney.
GREAT STOP!
