A one-night wake service starts Friday, Dec 8, at 4:00 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00.

Steven “Jack” John Long Soldier was born on Nov 23, 1942 in Pine Ridge, SD to Levi and Molly Long Soldier. Jack made his journey to the Spirit World on Nov 30, 2023 at the Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell, SD.
Jack is survived by the Long Soldier Family, Randall Family, Scheutzow Family, Ryan Family, Davis Family and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Levi and Molly (Randall) Long Soldier; sisters Josephine Ryan, Victoria Davis, Florence Larrabee, Audrey Dupree, and Pauline Scheutzow; and brothers Bobby Long Soldier and Ben Long Soldier.
Pallbearers will be Orin Davis, Russell Red Horn, Jordan Long Soldier, Beau Randall, Gary Blue Legs, Terry Scheutzow, Joseph Ashley, and Derek Long Soldier.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
