Tanya Storer has been elected to the Nebraska Legislature out of District 43 defeating Tony Tangwall with 11,486 votes to Tangwall’s 7,404 for the seat left vacant by Tom Brewer who had been term-limited. This is the first time Storer is serving in the legislature for the first time after Tom Brewer served the past seven years in Lincoln.
District 43 encompasses Dawes, Sheridan, Cherry, Keya Paha, Boyd, Brown, Rock, Blaine, Loup, Garfield, and Custer Counties.
