Private family services will be held at a later date for 34-year old Taylor Ziolkowski, granddaughter of Crazy Horse Memorial sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski.

Taylor Shea Ziolkowski was born July 31, 1988 and was called home on October 31, 2022.
She graduated from Custer High School and attended Chadron State College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Science for Criminal Justice.
She was a cheerleader in both high school and college, and loved playing softball with her dad as her coach. Â
Taylor had a special love of animals and she collected many stray dogs. She was also an artist and loved to do crafts. Taylor had a big compassionate heart to go along with her big smile.
Taylor was preceded in death by her father Casimir Ziolkowski.
She is survived by her mother Deiadra (Person) Ziolkowski; sisters Cheyanne (Ryan) Bailey; Sonja (Justin) Bakonyi of Spokane, WA; brother David (Rayna) Larson of Colbert, WA; nephews Ryder Bailey; Relic Bailey; and Taison Bakonyi; nieces River Bailey; AvarLee Larson; Annalynn Larson; and Learic Bakonyi; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements have been placed under the local direction of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
