Theodore De Lynn Weber was born May 31, 1938, in Ainsworth, NE to Paul and Irene (Paine) Weber. God called him home on May 3, 2023.
Ted grew up and attended school in rural Cherry County with his brothers James, Glen and Gene and sisters Lila and Beth. He enjoyed working with cattle, putting up hay and riding horses on the family ranch.
When Ted was 17, he was seriously injured in a car accident and left unconscious for many months. He gradually recovered and relearned to walk and talk. Ted went back to school and graduated from Thomas County High School in Thedford, NE, in 1958.
He lived and worked for many years on his parents’ ranch in the Sandhills, and enjoyed working on old cars and repairing them. In 1986 Ted married Clara in Valentine, NE, and they went on to take in several foster children.
After suffering a stroke, Ted was moved to a nursing home in White River, SD, where he spent the last years of his life.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife Clara, sister Lila Ahrens, and brother James (Jim) Weber.
He is survived by sister Elizabeth (Beth) Gibbons of Crawford, brother Glen Weber of Centennial, CO, and brother Gene Weber of Greeley, CO, as well as 12 nieces and nephews.
