“The Thin Place Opening At CSC”

Loading

This is Opening Night for the final Chadron State College theatrical production of the year, the ghost story-thrilled The Thin Place.by Luca Hnath. It contains adult language and mature themes.

The show is in the Black Box Theater on the second floor of Memorial Hall.

Because of Easter, there are only 2 performances this weekend – tonight and tomorrow night at 7:00 – with the final 3 next Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 and Sunday at 2:00

This is the regional premiere of The Thin Place, which debuted off-Broadway less than 3-½ years ago.

It’s the story of two women, Linda and Hilda, a psychic and her client. Linda communicates with the dead, who remain here but in the “thin place,” and offers peace, closure, and meaning to their loved ones.

Linda is portrayed by Adeline Beason, who says the show’s technical crews deserves enormous credit because the special effects and illusions they put together make the story possible.

Tickets are free, but the Black Box Theater holds fewer than 90 seats, so reservations are recommended to make sure you get a seat. Do so online at www.csc.edu/academics/theatre/seatreservation
