Funeral services for 60-year old Thomas “Tom” Cottier Sr are Sat, March 25, 2023 at noon at the Pine Ridge School Elementary Gym in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial is at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
A one-night wake service starts Friday, March 24, at 2:00 at the Pine Ridge School Elementary Gym in Pine Ridge.

Thomas Harold Cottier Sr was born on October 7, 1962 in Rushville, NE, to William Cottier Jr and Cecelia “Sisterbabe” (Shangreau) Cottier. Thomas made his journey to the Spirit World on March 15, 2023, at his home in Pine Ridge.
Thomas is survived by his daughters Ashley Cottier, Brandy Cottier, Cherie Cottier and Miracle Cottier; sons Thomas Cottier Jr, Teejay Cottier, Ron Martin and Marco Cottier; brother James “Jim” Cottier; hunka brother Wes Shangreau; aunts/uncle Emma Gallego and Tom & Ann Conroy; grandchildren Tommee Cottier, Tyra Cottier, Trenton Cottier, Taylin, Kinleigh and Riverly Cottier, Tarryn Wilson, Takara Cottier, Marsha Lynn Janis, Diana and Mia Long Visitor, an unborn grandbaby, Caylee McLaughlin, Rylan & Kaelyn Puckett, Liam Whirlwind Horse, Lyla Cottier, and Laelyn Cottier; and great-grandchildren, Nyal and Xavier Middletent.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents William Cottier Jr and Cecelia “Sisterbabe” (Shangreau) Cottier; brothers Darrell Cottier, Jerry Cottier Sr, Benita (Feather Earring) Cottier and Dean Cottier; grandparents William Cottier Sr, Mary (Nelson) Cottier, Martin and Louise (Jones) Shangreau; and niece Whisper Cottier.
