Thomas Edward Wilson was born on March 24, 1966 in Pine Ridge, to Cordell Edward Wilson and Mary Belle (Monroe) Wilson. Thomas made his journey to the Spirit World on March 13, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Thomas is survived by daughter Lauren Wilson of Manderson, SD; sister Alice (Raymond Clifford) Wilson of Rapid City, sister-in-law Freda Ten Fingers of Slim Buttes, SD; nieces Mary Wilson of Pine Ridge, Selena Wilson of North Dakota, Raquel Wilson, Crystal Ten Fingers, and Danielle Piper all of Slim Buttes; nephews James Wilson Jr, Kevin Wilson, and Albert Piper, all of Slim Buttes; grandchildren Jordan, Jaiden, and Maisie Jumping Eagle; aunts Jessie Pulliam, Phoebe Bad Yellow Hair, and Emily Lakota, all of Pine Ridge; uncles Alvin Bad Yellow Hair and Gerald “Jerry” Red Cloud Sr, both of Pine Ridge; and cousins Melanie Wilson, Loretta Wilson, Brenda Pumpkin Seed, Elena Her Many Horses, Avis Monroe, Iva Black Elk, Calvin Monroe, Owen Black Elk, Paul “Flip” Wilson, Nelson Cottier, and Jeff Wilson.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Cordell and Mary Belle (Monroe) Wilson; brother James F Wilson Sr; cousins Bernadette Pumpkin Seed, Clifford Black Elk Sr, Tammy & Richard Torres, and Barry Wilson Jr; nephew Bert Montileaux Jr; niece Mariah Montileaux; maternal grandparents Clifford James Monroe, Kenneth Walter Lakota, and Katie White Horse-Lakota; paternal grandparents Ogden F Wilson Sr, and Edith M Bettelyoun; aunts Sharon Monroe-Black Elk, Evelyn Monroe, Lucille Opal Brings Plenty, Olivia Wilson-Bruce, Marilyn Wilson-Cottier, and Edie Wilson-Irving; uncles Wilson Black Elk Sr, Vincent Brings Plenty, Ogden Wilson Jr, and Barry Wilson Sr; and other loved ones that passed before.
