Timothy Albert Zimiga “Tasunke Wawanyang Wicasa” (Man Who Watches His Horses) was born on November 22, 1959 in Wanblee, SD to Herman Zimiga and Emma (Breast) Zimiga. Timothy made his journey to the Spirit World on February 10, 2022 in Gordon, NE.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Carla Zimiga; daughter, Tawny Zimiga; son, Christopher Zimiga; siblings, Herman Wesley Zimiga, Robert Zimiga, Hobert Zimiga, Lavon Bernadette Zimiga, and Joseph Mark Zimiga; grandchildren, Emi Lynn Marie Zimiga and Marcus Martin, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, & grandchildren.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Emma Zimiga; sisters, Elizabeth Pecina and Dorothy Zimiga; and brothers, William “Poncho” Zimiga and Calvin Zimiga.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Bad Hand, Royce Gone, Derek Mesteth, Alex Edwards, Larry Bettelyoun, Jr., and Willard Decory.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
