Funeral services for 61-year old Tina Robertson of Sioux Falls, SD, are Friday, Sept 8, 2023 at 9:00 at the On Common Ground Church in Rapid City, SD, with Pastor Alton Yellow Boy and Deacon Bill White officiating.
Burial follows at 11:00 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD
A one-night wake service starts Thursday, Sept 7, at 1:00 at the On Common Ground Church in Rapid City with evening services and Rosary starting at 6:00

Tina Jo-Ann (Doyle) Robertson was born in Box Elder, South Dakota on July 27th, 1962, to parents Algenia Eva Brown and Lester Eugene Doyle Sr. She passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in Midlothian, VA, after a courageous battle with cancer.
It was in Rapid City, SD, where Tina met Kevin Charles Robertson, who was stationed there while serving in the United States Air Force. After dating for 4 years, they would marry on December 31, 1985 and be together until her untimely passing.
Tina was a caring, selfless, and open-hearted woman who loved her family deeply and unconditionally. She and her family were blessed to be able to travel, visit and live in several states throughout the United States.
It was in 2011 that she and Tim decided to settle down in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Besides traveling, some of her favorite activities were cooking, cleaning, watching her soaps and playing both bingo and scratch-off lottery tickets.
However, her greatest passion that brought her the most joy in life was spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren. Even though 3 of her 4 children lived on opposite sides of the country, she would go out of her way to travel miles at a time just to spend time with them and their families.
Tina was truly the matriarch of her family who worked tirelessly to keep everyone together and the family intact. Tina’s spirit and legacy will continue on through her children and grandchildren. We will always remember her, and she will be greatly missed
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years Kevin Charles Robertson; her 4 children Kevin Charles Robertson II (Daughter-in-law: Melida), Justina Lorraine Hamilton (Son-in-law: Wayne Jr.), Raymond Lee Robertson, and Alaynna Amelia Robertson; 4 grandchildren Jordan Scott Cary, Ashden Wayne Hamilton, Ava Jolee Hamilton, and Kevin “Charlie” Charles Robertson III; 5 siblings Ronald “Tony”, Robert “Bobby”, Janice (Sister-in-law: Candice), Patty, and Lester Jr (Sister-in-law: Cathy); nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a slew of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Algenia and Lester; her sisters Linda and Sharon; and her brother Donald “Coke”.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Cary, Jerry Craddock, Keith Crawford Jr, Shanice Crawford, Candice Doyle, Ashden Hamilton, Wayne Hamilton Jr, and Emmett Willis.
