TMCO Inc. has been named Nebraska Manufacturer of the Year by the NE Chamber. The award recognizes a Nebraska manufacturer that implements innovative ways to conduct business using products, processes, technologies and other strategies.
“TMCO perfectly represents manufacturing in Nebraska. They’ve developed a welcoming place to work for people of all backgrounds, serve their customers with pride and dedication, and have led on technology investment since day one,” said NE Chamber Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Mike Johnson. “The work they’ve done, and the work they continue to do, helps drive Nebraska forward in the heartland of manufacturing. The manufacturing industry is poised for growth, and it is so inspiring to see TMCO lead on that growth.”
Established and headquartered in Lincoln, TMCO’s original goal was to become what it is today, a Total Manufacturing Company. Roland Temme began operations in an 850 square-foot metal building in downtown Lincoln nearly 50 years ago. Since then, the manufacturing company has come to specialize in custom manufacturing, whether that be architectural and decorative structures or personalized and business merchandise.
“It’s an honor to highlight the work of family-owned small business. I think that manufacturing is a very special sector of Nebraska business and to be recognized as Nebraska Manufacturer of the Year is a really big honor for us,” said TMCO CEO Diane Temme Stinton. “The work of the Nebraska Chamber to advocate for the manufacturing sector is positioning us for some really exciting opportunities.”
TMCO was honored today at the annual NE Chamber Manufacturing Summit, co-hosted by RSM US LLP. RSM is a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services to manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries. Event sponsors are recognized here.
