Two Alliance residents have been arrested following a report of a juvenile victim being sexually assaulted.
The Alliance Police Department said in a release that on May 28th they received a report that a 13 year old juvenile female had been subjected sexual assault. An investigation was immediately started and interviews were conducted the following day.
After the investigation authorities arrested 46 year old Daniel Cortinas and 20 year old Mandy Landis. Both were charged with 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and lodged in the Box Butte County Jail with bond set at 10% of 100,000 dollars.
The investigation remains ongoing.
