Two Arrested Following Search Warrant in North Platte

Two North Platte residents were arrested following the execution of a search warrant in North Platte.  

The Nebraska State Patrol said in a release that investigators served a search warrant in the 600 block of South Tabor Avenue Wednesday morning. At the residence investigators located a handgun with magazines and ammunition, a set of brass knuckles containing a fold out knife, approximately one gram of suspected methamphetamine, less than an ounce of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. 

After the search investigators arrested 33 year old Cole Picotte and 21 year old Shyesha Bergen. 

Picotte was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Bergen was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
